SAP Re-evaluation

If you are on a SAP Academic Acknowledgment Plan, your progress will be automatically reviewed by the Office of Financial Aid at the end of each semester.

If your academic progress has improved, you may be eligible for financial aid for the following semester. If this is the case, you will receive an email from Niner Central notifying you of this change.

Next Steps

• If you have previously submitted a FAFSA for the semester in which you want aid:
  • ​Please review your award status in My UNC Charlotte > Banner Self Service to ensure that all required documents have been received.
    • Follow these steps to see if you have missing requirements.
  • If all your documentation is complete, you will receive an email when your award package is ready for you to review and/or accept your aid.​​​
• If you have NOT previously submitted a FAFSA for the semester in which you want aid:
  • We encourage you to apply at studentaid.gov as soon as possible.
  • You will receive an email after we receive your FAFSA information. At that time, please review your award status in My UNC Charlotte > Banner Self Service to ensure that all required documents have been received.
    • Follow these steps to see if you have missing requirements.
  • If all your documentation is complete, you will receive an email when your award package is ready for you to review and/or accept your aid.​​
